Enter Robotics.

3 of us. Struck down. It had been a heavy blow for us, when our hard work had been in vain. And the one, particularly sad reason why we lost:

Sabotage.

No, robotics wasn't what it used to be anymore. It no longer used to be a time where fairness was brought to order. Two weeks of brainstorming and 3 days of practical only left us going:

(a conversation between us and the organiser)

Us : Excuse me, mr. (insert name here), two of our school's teams have just been sabotaged.
Organiser: Oh okay. How?
Me : (Does a thorough explanation of the situation while he stares blankly at me) Do you think you could do anything about it, perhaps?
Organiser: Okay. We'll try.

Having nothing more to say, we just thanked him and left. And what did the organisers do during the 2nd round? Nothing. Literally. No extra trial round for us, no making sure that the participants do not cut the queues, no organisers standing near the tables to make sure someone does not reformat other people's robots by "accident".

I'm quite sick of this, actually. And i don't think i'm going to find myself involved in robotics anytime soon. Talk about ignorance.
